1. About this policy

Happy Game Story is an independent mobile game studio providing development and monetisation services to other studios. We have not yet published any games or apps under the HGS name. This policy covers happygamestory.com and correspondence with the studio. Before an HGS game launches, we will publish privacy information that reflects its actual features, data collection and providers.

2. Information you send us

If you email us about a partnership, portfolio, support or another enquiry, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond and manage the conversation. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.

The contact form opens your email application with a draft message. It does not submit your message to a website database. Your email provider handles the message when you send it.

3. Website requests and providers

This is a static website. Its code does not include advertising SDKs, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. If you use the animation control, we store your motion preference locally in your browser so it is remembered on your next visit. Our hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the site.

We load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to retrieve them, which shares technical request information with Google. See Google's Privacy Policy. Our email provider also processes correspondence to deliver and store messages.

4. Advertising and future games

We do not serve ads on this website. We have no games published under the HGS name with advertising or in-app purchases. Each future HGS game's advertising, analytics, audience and privacy choices will be described before release. Games we work on for clients are covered by their publishers’ product privacy policies. This website policy does not describe data processing within those games.

5. Retention and sharing

We keep correspondence while it is needed to handle an enquiry or an ongoing business discussion, and where necessary to meet applicable obligations. We use hosting and email services to operate the site and communicate with you. We may also disclose information when required by law.

6. Your requests

To ask about information you have sent us, or request access, correction or deletion, email contact@happygamestory.com. We will handle requests according to applicable data protection requirements. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

7. Children

This website introduces the studio and its work to potential collaborators. It offers no playable games or user accounts. Please contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information that should be removed.
